| Apple's
QuickTime software
allows users to view QTVR files (Quicktime VR 360 degree panoramas)
as well as Quicktime movies. Install the QuickTime software before
installing the QuickTime plug-in. With the Quick Time Player plug-in,
you can take a virtual tour of the Oakland Scientific Facility with
its 13 panos, climb aboard the scientific vessel New Horizon and see
ESD's Jim Bishop and his team at work out in the Pacific Ocean, visit
the ALS and take a 360 degree tour of Beamline 7, take a 360 degree
spin around the ALS Beamline 8.2.2, take a helicopter flight from
the Golden Gate Bridge to LBNL, or travel 360 degrees around the 3730XL
DNA Analyzer area at the Joint Genome Institute in Walnut Creek. |
